Dear Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council,Would you please provide me with the following information in the
most up to date figures available to you.
1) The number of adults in the Borough who are in receipt of Care
Packages financed by the Council.
2) The number of Private Providers contracted by the Council to
deliver this Care.
3) The number of people who receive this care in their own homes
(excluding retirement complexes where care is provided by on-site
staff)

information.

Answer: 4339 community based service users at 23/12/2013
2)The number of Private Providers contracted by the Council to deliver
this Care.
Answer: Bolton Council currently contracts with 252 private providers
3)The number of people who receive this care in their own homes (excluding
retirement complexes where care is provided by on-site staff)
Answer: 1669 service users at 23/12/2013
